The beach is always changing.

Waves come in and replace the sand and silt with every swell. People leave behind footprints that mix and overlap and then wear away. Sand castles are built, destroyed, and built again differently.

Alex hasn’t seen him since, so when Henry is part of the medical team at the charity lacrosse game Alex organizes… he finds that dislocating his shoulder in the middle of the field has never felt less thrilling.

Except, Hans forgets who they are, and forgets that things can never be simple.
A surprise attack leaves Henry injured and out for the count, Hans loses what little cool he had left, and the planned discussion goes nothing like planned.
