Alec huffs a laugh. “My brother, Jace, is a fanatic so I join him sometimes. But mostly I shoot arrows.”
Magnus turns to look at him. “You shoot arrows!” he repeats inanely.
Alec smiles. “Yep, as in..archery. I was High School champion.”
“Impressive,” Magnus replies. “Both the archery and the arms.”
Alec laughs. “The arms are definitely useful for lifting big pans and sacks of rice or potatoes.”
“How much can you lift?”
Alec looks at him, his eyes glinting. “Enough.”
Magnus bites his lip, holding back a smile. Alec is gonna be the death of him.

“Well, you could do that too,” Jace smirks.
Alec glares at him. Jace laughs and Izzy rolls her eyes. Boys!
