It wasn’t that Tony didn’t like dogs ; it’s just he didn’t expect one to be sprung onto him so quickly. He wouldn’t admit it, but Tony thought he was struggling enough with college, and so having a dog wasn’t the best thing in the world to happen to him.
Except maybe having a dog isn’t the worst thing when the world’s cutest boy has a dog-walking side hustle. Bruce Banner’s studying at the college just next door, working three jobs just to pay his rent. Tony sees it just as a matter of whether he can woo said cutest boy; but Bruce Banner likes to play hard to get.

He was better. He was healed. The wounds closed, broken ribs became unbroken, lungs began to take in oxygen on their own. His heart kept beating. He was physically healed for the most part. Sure he could barely stay standing for more than ten minutes. Sure he needed help going up and down the stairs. Sure he was tired all the time. But that didn’t matter because he was healed. Because he was alive. The constant pain didn’t matter.
