White slivers of Rashomon sway and twist, manifesting from Akutagawa’s unbuttoned blouse. Before they can stab him, Atsushi strangles out the words, “Why do you have tits?!”
The razor sharp points of Rashomon halt, halfway outstretched the distance between the two of them. Akutagawa’s hands, fisting cotton or silk or whatever it is that blouse is made of, tremble. “What kind of a question is that? Women tend to have breasts, weretiger,” Akutagawa (she!) grouses.

Not for the first time, Atsushi thinks Akutagawa is beautiful. “Wha–weretiger!” The clip of his low heels on concrete is a steady noise as he speedwalks to catch up with Atsushi. “We’re on a mission.”
The protest falls on deaf ears.
“Weretiger–”
“I think we’re perfectly capable of watching a high school student and ordering burgers at the same time. Or are you unable to multitask?” Atsushi interrupts, swatting away the tendril of Rashomon that’d manifested without Ryuunosuke’s conscious thought, actively attempting to wrap around Atsushi’s waist.

Akutagawa and Atsushi eat together, go to an arcade, and talk about their pasts–and it is absolutely not a date!

Summary
Taken in under Fukuzawa's, the god of the harvest, wing in his youth, Atsushi, god of flowers and tigers, was a sheltered god. Though he made the fields his foster father grew ever more beautiful with his flowers, the air always warm, Atsushi still felt confined, frustrated, and lonely.

"You don't have to play nice. I will kill you the moment I get the chance to in the arena," Akutagawa retorts coldly.
Atsushi lets out a dry laugh, trying to ease the tension in the air. "I can guarantee you, I won't hold back either. Still, it doesn't hurt to be friendly while we still can. No need to be so prickly." He raises his arms in a defensive gesture.

Akutagawa knows that his chances of winning the 74th Hunger Games as a scrawny, malnourished Tribute from District 12 are slim to none. Still—he will do everything in his power to win the Games and return to his younger sister Gin for whom he volunteered. Summary
Joining the ADA was the best thing to happen to Atsushi Nakajima but the last three years have put the weretiger through the wringer.
