Havia pouca coisa que a comunidade de heróis no geral sabia com certeza sobre o Batman, de forma generalizada, o que os super heróis e vigilantes mundo a fora poderiam te contar sobre o Cavaleiro das Trevas pode ser resumido em três pontos principais.
1) Ele não é um cara muito falante, é na verdade um homem um tanto quanto ranzinza, mas de alguma forma é carismático o suficiente para ser não apenas respeitado e admirado, mas também muito querido por muitos.
2) Não há vida que não importa para o Batman, ele se importa, morreria e lamentaria por qualquer pessoa desse mundo, a conhecendo ou não, amando-a ou odiando-a.
3) Ele namora um completo maluco, sério mesmo, o namorado dele é pirado.
Cinco heróis ou vigilantes que conheceram o famoso parceiro romântico do Batman e o acharam louco e esquisito e mais um que na verdade o achou um cara bem divertido.

“What you thinking so hard about?” Clark asked, his large hand coming to rest lightly on Bruce’s thigh.
Bruce blinked out of his reverie, turning to look at Clark’s profile as the man focused on the road. His curls fluttered around in the breeze of the AC, and his eyes sparkled with energy from the sun. Clark’s red flannel shirt that Bruce pretended to hate was rolled up to his elbows, unintentionally showing off his powerful forearms. To Bruce, he was the most gorgeous man in the world.
“You.” Bruce replied, uncharacteristically sentimental.
He was rewarded with Clark’s small, shy smile, and traces of red colouring his cheeks, tracing up to the tips of his ears. Clark didn’t respond, and Bruce took some satisfaction in his ability to render Clark speechless, but he felt Clark’s love all the same, the other man gently squeezing his thigh.
“Get a room!” Dick gagged from the back, wriggling around with his seatbelt.
Bruce hit his head back against the headrest once more. It would be a long twenty minutes to Smallville.

He'd call about the interview, he decided. That was the right thing. The professional thing to do for both of them. He would call, and he would be a journalist, and he would not think about the bathroom or the heartbeat or the way Bruce had gone still and careful the moment Clark had pulled back, asking "Do you want to stop? " like what he wanted really mattered, even if Bruce looked like he wanted to take, like Clark's answer was the only important thing weighing on him.
He would absolutely not think about that.Or: Superman and Batman meet properly for the first time; Clark does not handle it as gracefully as he should, the heartbeat memorization wasn't on purpose, and he would like everyone to stop looking at him like that.
