Summary
The war is over. Or is it, really? For some, it ended much earlier than the final battle. For others, it may never end at all. And for Harry? It looks like he's of the latter kind.

That was the thing nobody ever asked. Not really. They’d said he was brave, that he’d chosen, that he was the sort of person who ran towards the danger. And maybe that was true. But he’d never wanted to be the person who had to. He hadn’t wanted to be extraordinary. He hadn’t wanted the scar or the prophecy or any of the seven years of weight that had come with them. He’d have taken the cupboard under the stairs and a normal life and not known the difference. He’d have been perfectly happy not knowing the difference.
