Summary
Simon has been waiting for this promotion for years. He’s worked his ass off every single day, dedicated every second of his spare time to getting ready for the job and to become worthy of it. So, when the day of the announcement of the new editor-in-chief of Makalös arrives, he’s positively buzzing. As the email finally appears in his inbox, he opens it with trembling hands and reads–

And who the fuck is that?
Wilhelm doesn’t even want this job in the first place. The only reason he applied is that he needed a new employment after getting fired from the newspaper he’d been working at for – hilariously enough – simply doing his job. The catch? He doesn’t know anything at all about fashion, and who the hell reads this stuff nowadays anyway?
So, when the recruitment office messes up and he becomes the new editor-in-chief of Makalös, he finds it more than a little funny. The same, however, cannot be said for his very hot – but murderous looking – senior editor.

TLDR: Simon and Wilhelm work together at a fashion magazine and want to ruin each other – in very different ways.

Summary
Two small dots for eyes, slightly uneven, and a downturned mouth so dramatic it almost looks theatrical. A sad face. A deeply, unmistakably miserable little face floating in the center of his latte.
Wilhelm blinks at it.
Then he looks up.
Simon is watching him with his mouth pressed together in what is very clearly an attempt not to smile. It fails almost immediately. One corner of his mouth lifts, then the other, and before Wilhelm can decide whether or not he has imagined the whole thing, Simon tips his head slightly to one side and makes the exact same expression as the latte, eyebrows raised in sympathy, lips pulling into an exaggerated pout.
The laugh escapes Wilhelm before he can stop it.
TLDR: Wilhelm is a lawyer having a terrible day, until a barista with an adorable pout turns more than just his day around.
