It’s not easy, turning up as an exchange student halfway through the year—Felix has made many acquaintances, but few friends.
It’s not that she expected to have a secure group by the time International Women’s Day rolled around—on the contrary, she expected to know even fewer people at this point—but the thought of going alone without a supportive group of girls by her side aches a little.
It’s fine, though. Perhaps if she’s lucky, Felix will find a group to tag along with for the day.

Summary
Neville Longbottom, the Boy-Who-Lived, won the war against Voldemort, and Harry Potter played his small part in that victory. Now, less than five years later, a group of disaffected former Death Eaters is causing trouble, and asking for Harry as a hostage in return for a period of peace. Harry, believing it’s better he be taken prisoner than Neville, accepts, thinking this will give Neville time to gather his forces and put down the Death Eaters. He doesn’t much think about his own fate, other than to assume it will be gruesome. He’s wrong.
