Summary
They hadn’t spoken in weeks. Not like they used to at least. A few words here or there were maybe unavoidable when living together. Maybe. Maybe a desperate effort to cling to what used to be. Nonetheless, that name had not passed over Dorcas’ lips in what felt like forever. It felt rusty. But familiar all the same. Like the bike you learned to ride on but haven’t touched in years. She could almost taste the iron on her tongue.
Or, Marlene is scared of her feelings and makes it all of Hogwarts' problem.

Summary
”I kissed him, James.” Sirius was nervously twitching on the couch in the almost empty common room, the words only just escaping his strained lips.
”Who?” James frowned and continued to stare at Sirius, who, just as intensely, stared back.
”Remus.”

Summary
[ This fic is written to coincide with the events of episode 9.06, Heaven Can't Wait, and occasionally retreads scenes and borrows dialogue directly from the show. The rest... let's call it canon conjecture. ]
When he picked up the phone, Dean hadn’t been banking on Idaho, or a case, or Cas. Now, he’s gotta contend with all three and it’s giving him a lot to think about. He’s living somewhere between memory and moment, locking horns with big nasty guilt every which way he turns. But it’s a case. And more importantly? It’s Cas.

Summary
How much of Dean's life would really change if, in between hunting and driving and sleeping and eating, Cas also held his hand? Kissed him good morning? Slept in the same bed as he did? Sam and Eileen seem like they’re having a grand old time doing all of that. Why not give it a shot with Cas? After all, what's the worst that could happen?
After a lifetime of hardship, happiness finally feels within reach. Dean just has to reach out and take it.

Summary
Cas leans back into his space, sturdy. "I promise, I would not do anything that would put myself or our family in danger."
Dean laughs at the absurdity of it all. "So what you said, about me still be being me. It's not true then?" Cas doesn't respond. Waves of grief wash over them, it's a wonder Dean can still breathe. He inhales. "Cause then you wouldn't kiss me. You wouldn't kiss me. I wouldn't want you to kiss me."
Cas does anyway. The darkness doesn't come.

There’s an archangel in Dean’s head and strangers from another universe in his house. His kid is sick, his mother is young and aloof, and to make matters worse, his best friend is keeping secrets. Again. Only this time, Dean finds out about Castiel's deal with the Empty, and he's got a pretty solid idea about what (or who) might trigger it. Knowing full well Cas must stay miserable to stay alive, Dean makes his move.
This is the way they can have each other. No matter how much it hurts.

Summary
Once upon a time, there was a green-eyed prince, locked away in a tower of monsters for the sin of refusing his angelic betrothed.
Once upon a time, there was a blue-eyed wizard who had erred, and in doing so had lost, and lost, and lost, until he had little left to lose.
Once upon a time, there was a Princess of Mondoor, cursed to live as a red dragon. Or perhaps she was a red dragon who had been born in the shape of a Princess of Mondoor. Hard to say.
These were all separate stories.
Until they weren’t.
