Upon his return to the living room, he finds Yuji with his cheek pressed into the soft fabric of the couch, snoring quietly. A thin sheen of sweat adorns his body, littered about with splotches of dirt and grime. Fresh new scrapes cover his knees, surrounding the previous scabbed over injuries.
What a klutz. Wasuke briefly wonders how the other boy manages to deal with all of his grandson's energy. He hopes the boy's parents don't think too poorly of Yuji if their son had also come back a mess. He had always meant well, with a heart full of love and an endless stream of kindness to give.

Summary
Yuji’s head hurts from trying to make sense of the whole situation. It’s obvious that Megumi likes that what they’re doing is wrong, but at the same time, having to hide it is precisely what breaks him up inside. It’s a strange contradiction that Yuji can’t quite bring himself to understand.
He thinks that Megumi must be using the lack of morality in their actions as some sort of justification for something. Like, if what he and Yuji are doing is nothing but them being horrible people and bad boyfriends, then it can never go as deep as true intimacy and love between two individuals—two boys. They’re just two people who are doing bad things.
Fuck, but there’s still something incredibly intimate about that. To share such a secret, to be the only people in the world who know what they’ve been doing, is something that feels so deeply personal, that it’s almost romantic.
In which Yuji and Megumi make a series of drunken mistakes.
