"Hey Minjeong?" Her face was uncharacteristically serious, but Jimin knew that she was up to no good. Because when Yizhuo’s lips were curled in a slight smile like this, things usually could only go wrong.
Minjeong tilted her head to the side, curious to see the infamous Yizhuo approaching her. "Yeah?"
"Can you help me and date Jimin please?"
The world abruptly fell silent around them, the only source of noise coming from the rustling sound of the fan at the corner of the room, and someone making themselves coffee in the pantry.
Too busy with her professional life, Jimin never really took the time to settle down and date someone... until her best friend randomly threw her case at her and trapped their colleague, Minjeong, into a weird fake dating scheme with her.
Jimin wasn’t sure if she wanted to murder her friend for gaslighting her into doing this, or herself for actually going along with it.

Minjeong frequently dreams of living different lives. Which isn't entirely a big deal—except in every single one of her dreams, she and Jimin are together. Like together-together.
Again, it shouldn't be a big deal. After all, they're just dreams.
If only they don't fucking HATE each other.
(or, just jimin and minjeong—fated to love each other in every lifetime—misinterpreting ALL the signs the universe keeps giving them. someone had to intervene eventually)
