it was a comment made by san in passing that had mingi hyper fixated.

it was probably after hongjoong had earnestly complimented the tall blonde man, praising him for doing so well at teaching the group their choreo.
the other members all laughed, nodding in agreement with san, teasing yunho for his red tinged ears. the man chuckled and ducked his head awkwardly.
mingi had laughed along with the others, but his heart squeezed yuhno grow even more embarrassed.
“enough!” yunho finally whined playfully, looking up at the group.

mingi knew that the way he was was no longer seen as cute. he knew it was burden. he knew that when his members met his eyes they saw him as a weak coward. he no longer fit in with the dynamic of the team. he was no longer the loveable walking oxymoron. he was a ticking time bomb that everyone was afraid to be around.
