Shinsou doesn’t know who Kacchan really is to him. Izuku has spent so much time looking at Shinsou and relating to him, that he forgot that Shinsou wasn’t looking back at him with that same recognition.
Izuku takes a deep breath, and starts, “Kacchan and I aren’t really childhood friends. Not really.”

AU from the moment Spock goes to rescue his parents on Vulcan.
Jim goes with Spock to the disintegrating planet. The perilous rescue attempt unexpectedly bonds them.
The Enterprise transporters rescue a few thousand Vulcans and alert the system to evacuate. When the planet is destroyed, the Vulcans' collective culture is threatened, and an essential web of connections necessary for maintaining logic is broken.
