Sangwon leaned against the railing. “I think it’s hopeful.”
Anxin turned toward him fully now, curious. “How so?”
Sangwon looked at the horizon. “Because they still meet.”
His voice softened. “Even if it’s only for a little while, they still find each other every day.”
For a moment, Anxin said nothing. The wind stirred between them, brushing up their hairs like they're in a cinematic movie scene.
“You always look for the good in things, don’t you?”
Sangwon smiled, the curve of it soft and unguarded. “Someone has to.”
This time, Anxin didn’t look at the sunset. He looked at Sangwon. The last of the golden light clung to the edges of his face, warming his skin in a way that made him seem almost unreal—like something the evening had made just for this hour.
“Will you keep looking at things that way?” Anxin asked quietly.
Sangwon glanced at him, then gave a small shrug, his smile turning gentler.
“As long as I have a reason to, I guess.”

Sangwon, as bright as the sun, meets Anxin, who carries evening even in daylight and for a fleeting summer, they try to prove that light and dusk can last.
