He staggered back over the edge, crying out. Just in time, Spiderman shot out an arm to grab him from around the waist, pulling Mike out of danger. Mike cursed himself, adrenaline pumping wildly. The superhero chuckled, getting them as far away from the edge of the rooftop as possible, before letting Mike go.
“You okay?” Spiderman asked, and Mike could almost see his grin of amusement.
Mike, on the other hand, was the epitome of embarrassment. “Uh,” He croaked. He felt like crying.
“Seriously, are you going into cardiac arrest?” Spiderman asked, putting a hand on Mike’s shoulder.
Mike felt himself flush deeper. “No. No- yeah. I’m fine. Thank you.” He looked at the ground. The right knee of his khakis was stained oil-black. How had that even happened?
“You sure?” Spiderman squeezed his shoulder. That was not helping at all.
“Yeah.” Mike nodded, and Spiderman released his grip. “Fine. Thanks for…” He trailed off. “Saving me. I guess.”
or, Micheal James Wheeler, an intern at a New York based publishing company, is in love with his best friend. Will Byers, a student majoring in visual arts, is Spiderman. As in THE Spiderman.

“I don’t think that it has to mean that you’re into guys,” Lucas says. His words are accompanied by a casual shrug, and said in the tone of someone who has clearly already given this subject some thought. Will doesn’t know what to do with that information. Jump from a building, maybe. “I mean, we’d all get flustered if Spider-Man carried us in his arms.”
Mike points to him enthusiastically. “Thank you, Lucas.”
Dustin looks between the two of them, his eyes narrowed.
“...Would we?”
“Sure,” Mike concludes. “He’s attractive. That’s not a weird thing to think.”
Will just barely resists the urge to bang his head against the table. He feels Dustin’s eyes glued to his burning face, and sinks even further down his chair.
In which Mike tells Spider-Man that he has a crush on his best friend, and Will jumps to some very wrong conclusions.

продолжение прошлого фф про человека паука!! тоже очень милая часть 🥺 майка постоянно пытается похитить какой-то злодей, потому что он знает, что майк важен уиллу и уилл постоянно спасает его и винит себя, что жто это всё из-за него. в итоге уилл говорит, что им стоит расстаться, но в итоге через время они снова сходятся и хэппи энд!

Max peers at him. “You got something to say, Wheeler?”
Mike shrugs. Then the alcohol gets the best of him. “I’d fuck Spider-Man.”
Will chokes on his water.
Mike’s devised a plan. If he lets himself crush on Spider-Man, then he can work on getting over Will, his roommate and best friend who's clearly uninterested. It's foolproof, really.

ТАКОЙ КЛЕВЫЙ ФФ ВАУ! обязательно перечитай, мне прям очень понравился.
майк съезжается с уиллом в Нью-Йорке и решает, что стоит переключить свое внимание с крашика на уилла на крашик на человека паука, у него ну,, плюс минус успешно это получается и они даже целуются пару раз, а потом уилл признаётся майку, что он человек паук, а майк говорит, что чут чут догадывался ииии хэппи энд.
мне ОЧЕНЬ понравилось как авторка описывает уилла, он такой самоуверенный, такой флиртун, очень люблю такого уилла 🥺 а майк как обычно неудачник, но все равно очень милый -
