Summary
Before he can stop himself, he’s behind Phoenix Wright and slamming his head down onto the table. From beneath the defendant’s collar, the scars and stitches around his neck are exposed. The sight of them freezes Edgeworth in place.
There’s a moment of silence, then the defendant begins to laugh. Miles feels his face twist into a grimace, still exerting pressure down on the back of Phoenix’s head.
“Is this your justice, Prosecutor Edgeworth?” He taunts from his bowed head position.
“No. This is my pursuit of the truth, Phoenix Wright,” Edgeworth retorts, conviction flowing through him.

After being unable to declare Matt Engarde guilty, Phoenix Wright disappears. A few months later, a new calling card appears alongside the seashell one - a bird in flight. Phoenix takes things into his own hands, and Miles finds himself falling back into old methods. A spiral downwards as both men pursue their own sense of justice, whatever it takes.

Summary
When 50-year-old Chief Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth becomes the victim of a stabbing in the red light district, past traumas and emotional hang-ups bubble to the surface as he is forced to confront the nagging loneliness that has followed him all through his life.
Meanwhile, Phoenix Wright grapples with his own growing sense of isolation and despair as his circle of connections grows ever more distant, relationships inevitably fading and discolouring as he enters middle age. With Trucy away on a world tour of her magic act, Phoenix is in turn forced to acknowledge his desperate longing for companionship.

Phoenix and Miles deal with growing older and no longer being able to ignore their own needs and desires now that their work life has become (marginally) less chaotic. Takes place in the mid 2040s, when Miles and Phoenix would be in their fifties. Also includes a crime mystery for all you sleuths out there.

Sometimes Phoenix gets a little carried away during sex. Miles confronts him about it.
“What do you – wait,” Phoenix said, understanding dawning, expression turning horrified. “Oh god. I say that? I do that? I'm so sorry, Miles.” He tripped over his own words, thinking of all the times he’d let his mouth run. “It's objectifying, a-and rude, and I'll stop immediately!"
"Phoenix," Miles interrupted him, flushed. "You misunderstand me. I am not requesting you to stop.” He swallowed. “On the contrary – I would like you to do it more."

Summary
Miles Edgeworth is accustomed to his routine life and quiet surroundings until his new neighbor from Hell invades his sanctuary.
He had nearly reached his house when a crash resounded through the truck followed by loud cursing. Whipping around to confront them yet again, Miles quickly changed his mind when a clueless man with blond hair came stumbling out, blubbering like an idiot. The woman he spoke with went to console him as she escorted him into the house. With each second that passed his disdain grew until another man emerged from the house.
His looks piqued Miles’ interest, the man tan with dark brown hair spiked in the back. He couldn’t make out the details on his face but the smile he shared with the little girl beside him was charming. His frame was bulkier than his own but in a muscular sense. Not able to discern anything else through the ratty clothing he was wearing, Miles reminded himself he didn’t need to associate with the miscreants that were invading his solitude.
Slamming the door behind him, he prayed that his new neighbors would learn the joys of silence or he’d be looking for new dwellings.
