Summary
"I just… I just don't want you to leave." Columbina utters, feeling the heat of her neck rising.
"I… really don't understand you, Columbina."
"You keep giving me signals every time you perform. Leaving me confused on what you want from me. Always wanting to see me after you perform, and then push me away until I'm close to understanding what you want." Sandrone uncovers Columbina's intentions bit by bit.
A hard swallow comes from her throat, "And now you're asking me not to leave?" Her voice is on edge, teetering between frustration and tolerance.

Summary
Sandrone scrunches her eyes shut in anticipation of colliding with the hard tiling below her, but rather than cold metal hitting her back, it's soft fabric and warm skin. And a familiar scent that somehow feels like moonlight, despite being far indoors.
Huh?
"Sandrone?" Columbina's airy voice snaps Sandrone out of her thoughts. "Are you quite alright? That would have been quite a nasty fall, had I not caught you."
(or, Sandrone forgets to do a minor maintenance task. Columbina uses the opportunity to tease her (and take care of her))

Summary
Sandrone retells the story she has explained thrice by now; the backup plan in Fontaine, the blueprints updated after her interactions with the Wanderer, Master Albedo, and the witches of the Hexenzirkel, the important nature of her core, and all the instructions a robot can give to be rebuilt over and over again if needed. Lauma listens, and listens, and the sun setting behind her gives the warmth in her eyes a certain spark that makes Sandrone feel as if she could remotely understand what dying and reviving by her own hand feels like.
“It pleases me to hear of your success,” Lauma says, when Sandrone runs out of things to explain. “Nod-Krai welcomes you back again, for as long as you may need. Though I suppose you came here with a goal in mind?”
In the aftermath of her rebirth, with Columbina dragging her along into a mission to get Lauma and Nefer to fix whatever is keeping them apart, Sandrone finds that what comes after death and learning to live again is an odd thing indeed.

Stupid, stupid moon goddess, always has to find some god-damn stupid way to annoy her, Celestia knows what possessed Her Majesty the Tsaritsa to recruit someone like her who just—who just—always manages to create new distractions for Sandrone. Sandrone, and no one else!!!
"Oh?" Columbina's voice pulls her out of her thoughts. "I would have thought that with your mastery of automatons, you would have been able to figure out the problem by yourself. Perhaps—"
"I—you—YOU!" Sandrone stomps her foot in rage, and she sees Columbina fail to suppress a smile at the action. Stupid Columbina, stupid Damselette. So she thinks she's so funny, messing with her like that, doubting her genius like some, like some kind of—UGH!
(or, Columbina gives Sandrone a little…goodbye gift. Sandrone does not appreciate her antics.)
