“We’d like one unassembled owlbear, please,” the tiefling says to Nettie, holding out a small pouch. Nettie nearly drops it; the fabric feels like burning coals. “Shit,” the tiefling says apologetically, digging in her pocket and flipping Nettie a few extra coins. “Sorry. I run hot.”
“You don’t want to each make your own?” Nettie asks. It’s both an upselling tactic and a genuine question. How are three grown women supposed to share one stuffed animal?
The tiefling’s jaw drops. “Abso-fucking-lutely we do,” she says, heat crackling off of her skin. “How much is it to do three? More, right? Shadowheart, give the nice lady some gold.”

Summary
Artemis was promised a chance to roam the memories of Nestra, an alternate universe version of the deceased Percy Jackson that is 80 years older than Percy was and also is a god now (on top of other things). It's a lot, even for her.
But she'll take whatever opportunity she can to figure out just what may happen in the future and how she can help prevent tragedy befalling the world.
That's definitley the only reason she has agreed to explore Nestra's messy library of memories though. Definitely not in part because Nestra was apparently best friends with her in the future and Artemis is really curious how that happened.

If you were looking for a vacation spot, Nestra would not recommend the void of Chaos. For one it’s extremely out of the way; the easy way to it is from cliffs at the bottom of Tartarus, don’t bother asking about the hard way to get to the void. For another, it sucked.

“Woah pause the feed a second.” Nestra makes a ‘T’ with her hands, “What did you mean about me– the me of this world– dying to defeat Tartarus?”

Nestra has lived a full life. She realized she was a woman and transitioned. She married the love of her life, Annabeth. She has been a part of too many prophecies for her own good (from killing Kronos all those years ago to battling primordials and more). But her biggest adventure seems to be starting now -not by her own choice.
And apparently it starts with a trip through the void of Chaos to end up in an alternate universe set 80 years before Nestra's time where her past self (Percy Jackson) has recently died to help end the war against Tartarus. At least things can't get worse from here, and maybe eventually she can prevent some of the tragedies she saw in her world.

Summer has come to an end, and it's time for Luz to return home to Camila. Amity only finds the courage to tell her friend how she feels about her when the door closes behind Luz, and makes the rash decision to follow her.
Then something goes wrong, stranding Amity with Luz, far away from everything she’s ever known.
Meanwhile, life soldiers on in the Boiling Isles, but unbeknownst to Amity, her disappearance will radically alter the lives of those close to her. Eda, Edric, Emira, Willow and Gus resolve to do everything in their power to bring her back, but not without facing challenges of their own.

The acid rain bit at her feet, which were turned in on each other, and added to the feeling of her hunched-over shoulders – that Amity looked small, and flustered, and vulnerable.
“I’m sorry,” Amity began, a tremor on her lips that Luz wanted to, but couldn’t, discount to the cold. “I didn’t know where else to go. Can I stay?”
