However, possessing this knowledge made it no less aggravating for him to discover — a full two minutes into his rant about his day — that he’d been venting his frustrations to a complete stranger. When Bakugou presents as an Alpha, there's an undeniable shift in their tense relationship.
Being an Omega himself, no longer was Izuku being pushed around in the traditional sense. Instead he submitted to whatever it was that Kacchan wanted, obedient and pliant, too meek to stand up and say no to what Bakugou demanded that they do together.
Even when that includes doing things he never thought they could do in public.

Katsuki didn’t know when the change had happened: how he had gone from asking why Todoroki chose Deku of all people, to wondering why it was Todoroki that Deku chose.
Troublesome Deku, who cooed like an idiot at cats, tripped at a random catcall and sang badly. Who, despite everything, proved that it wasn’t the quirk that defined a person.
