Summary
Finally, Daniel sank into the couch and drew a blanket up over his legs. Switched on the TV to a random program and pretended to be absorbed in it, as if he wasn’t vibrating with nerves at the thought of Armand’s arrival. He curled into a ball, digging himself deeper under the blanket, and tried to quiet his thoughts, take them somewhere nicer. It didn’t work. Not really. Every other thought was intermixed with images of the dirty bathroom, of the water in the sink, the feeling of hands pinning his arms behind him. Daniel shook his head like he could physically clear the thoughts. He trained his eyes on the TV, curled his knees up to his chest, and waited for the sun to set.
OR: An old friend from Daniel's past comes to visit him in New York. When things turn violent, Daniel escapes and attempts to hide the truth from Armand while dealing with the aftermath of the attempted assault.

How pleasurable it would be to run his undead finger along Daniel’s pink mouth– it would be so easy to slip his thumb inside. In his unconscious state, Daniel would probably suckle around the digit like a babe. But these were foolish desires, and Armand didn’t let himself get close enough to Daniel to test this theory. He was there long enough to leave the cigarettes in his suitcase, and then he disappeared back under the cover of darkness.

The gratuitous satisfaction that came from Armand using him puzzled Daniel sometimes. He figured that in any other lifetime, if a partner had instructed him to sit still and hold their cock in his mouth, he would’ve outright refused. But there was something so intoxicating about letting Armand use him, about letting himself be controlled. So much so that oftentimes, his mind went to an entirely different plane of existence, and he was reduced to this: a drooling, mindless mess.
Or: Daniel is being a little shit when Armand is watching Blade Runner for the millionth time, and Armand finds a creative way to shut him up.
