Summary
A mysterious, light green leaf rested atop a pink sticky note, which read, “Eat me.” Now. Mike may have done some dumb stuff in his life but he knows better than to seriously consider eating it. That leaf could have been anything, from a poison, a drug, or some other shit. He set the pink bag down and grasped at the leaf, holding it up to the light to see its veins. Mike frowned while he moved the leaf closer to his face, gears grinding in his brain considering if he’s ever seen this somewhere. School only taught you so much about poisonous plants besides the most obvious, poison ivy. Not like Mike paid much attention in his younger years regardless. What if Jess left this here for me? The chick might know something about this I don’t. Must be some Inuit shit, like viagra but all natural or whatever they say. He shrugged and threw his caution to the wind, putting it in his mouth and chewing.
