It was a command, one that Bruce needed Tim to follow. Tim needed to be okay. His kids all needed to be okay.
“Yeah,” Tim said.
The real Tim.
Tim was alive.

“Is something going on? You kinda freaked out just now.”
“I did not freak out.” Bruce said firmly.
Tim just blinked up at him. Tim, Tim, he was alright, he was alive, he was alright. There was no blood, there was no difficulty in each breath he took, no fluttering within his heart, he was okay.
