I ship both Albus x Scorpius and Rose x Scorpious. So, I gave Scorpius a twin sister and made everyone gay. Probably more focus on Rose's relationship, as I'm more comfortable writing from a female perspective. Otherwise canon compliant (books not movies). I am operating under the assumption that Hermione is Black for this story, which is really not relevant to the story at all, except to contribute to Rose's physical appearance. The main story will start in fifth year, with occasional flashbacks.This summary will be edited as I go along.

--“I want a bard, Lam,” Aiden says, giving Lambert very good pleading eyes. “There’s a whole passel of them in town - can we steal one?”
“No,” Lambert says firmly. Jaskier begins towing Aiden through the tavern, hopefully towards the promised private room. Geralt nudges Lambert to follow.
“Just a little one?” Aiden asks plaintively over his shoulder. “Pocket-sized?”
“No,” Lambert repeats, rubbing his forehead. Geralt suppresses a snicker.
“I can recommend a few who might enjoy being stolen!” Jaskier puts in brightly--

“Her mother, ah, caught her with another girl.” Shane’s eyes bug out. He knows what this means. He knows what Ilya’s family is like.

“Sveta has her. They take the next train out to Kazakhstan. Then we figure out visa and Canada.”

Or: Ilya’s niece is caught kissing a girl and has to run to Canada.
Ilya and Shane have to learn to be parents and Arina finds out maybe some things (like gender and sexuality) aren’t so set in stone.
