Both Remus and Sirius felt guilty because they didn’t want to replace James, but soon they realized that Harry needed it. As time passed, Harry called them Dad when he wanted something or when he needed to have a heart-to-heart talk. Calling them Dad was a vulnerable moment for Harry when he needed them to be more than just Moony and Padfoot, to be his family and his safe space.
