It's the start of a complicated relationship, but that is only to be expected. It's okay, though, they can fix things and get to know each other. They have a whole life ahead of them, things will definitely get better with time.
Or at least, that's what Pina likes to think. Too bad the world keeps moving, and Riz is not sure if he can keep up with the speed of it.

Proof of this was how Pina slowly made his way inside his heart, planting something there without the bear realizing. Pina shined for him as if he were his Sun, nurturing and filling him with warmth, making him feel alive once again. And as months went by, the feelings he had for the sheep grew stronger, until something that was much deeper than friendship started blooming.
Just a few years later, by the time Riz was out of prison, the roots of that feeling were already too deep in his heart:
