The writer of "Eddie Brock: Carnage" C. Soule doesn's view Eddie and His Other bond as romantic relationship and doesn't sem to know that Carnage (both Clerus and Red) refer to Eddie as their "daddy". Which consiqently makes old time Venomaniacs feel awkward when Red flirts with Eddie in Soule's story...
To work trough this cognitive dissonance i've wrote this fic.

Summary
During Spiderman #800, the Venom symbiote temporarily leaves Eddie and goes with Spiderman to help him defeat the Red Goblin, a merge of the Carnage symbiote and the Green Goblin. During the battle, Flash Thompson is mortally wounded. Spiderman tells the symbiote to leave so he can trick the Green Goblin into fighting him without Carnage, the the symbiote slinks away, never to be seen for the rest of the issue.
So what happens when it returns to Eddie? The two have a conversation about loss and letting go.

Summary
Eddie Brock and the Venom Symbiote are experiencing strange and uncontrollable fits of rage after their recent reunion, so they've turned to Alchemax to provide a cure (or at least an experimental drug to keep it at bay). It seems to work, but a new batch of this drug has a strange side-effect--one that makes Venom want to be bred by previous hosts of the Symbiote! Suspicious of Alchemax due to this new development, Eddie and his Other turn to the only person they think they can trust to help them figure this out: Flash Thompson (and by association, Flash's best friend Peter Parker). Too bad for all of them Flash and Peter aren't immune to this side-effect when Eddie is around.

Summary
No part of Eddie’s day job is fun, exactly, but the clubs are the symbiote’s least favorite, and not just because they’d rather be doing hero work. People look at Eddie like they’re hungry for him— men and women both. The way Anne used to look at him, the memories tucked away but vivid; memories Eddie never calls up willingly, because when they come, he hurts.
The symbiote would like to fix it, but it feels like a wound that can’t be healed all at once. Something that needs coaxing, and care, and time.
Something that needs delicacy, but they want to try.
Eddie draws stares when they go to the club, blatant interest, and the symbiote doesn’t like it. Eddie belongs to them, now.
People call them lots of things, most of it unkind, but the symbiote has never felt monstrous quite like it does on nights like this— with men and women running their hands down Eddie’s arm, pink lips bitten between bright white teeth.

Summary
Eddie slinks onto the main floor, trying not to draw attention to himself, but when he takes in his surroundings they feel the bursting pulse of his surprise.
This is not the kind of club of Eddie expected it to be; he stands frozen in place, eyes darting from one corner of the room to the next, mind running wild. People do seem to be dressed differently than they are at most clubs, and the place is laid out strangely, but the symbiote can’t tell exactly what has Eddie so overwhelmed. His pulse races, and he licks over his bottom lip, as if unsure of what to do next. The symbiote takes a moment to press into Eddie’s thoughts, into his memories, to try and piece together exactly what is wrong. Learning things from Eddie’s mind is often complicated, and this is no different, but there is enough information that they at least know where to start.
A ‘bondage’ club.

Summary
There is noise, and pain, and the city flies past him in shades of grey as he falls, falls, falls.
Eddie!
His thoughts are too tangled to respond, fuzzy and faraway, like he might be dreaming. Something in Eddie is broken— his bones are sitting wrong in his skin, and before black flesh crawled protectively over his own, his guts had been spilling out between his fingers. It hurts, god, it hurts.
His darling can put him back together, but breaking is still an agonizing thing.
EDDIE!
Eddie’s eyes flutter shut before he’s swallowed with darkness, and everything shudders and slows. Then he’s being carried, but all wrapped up in ink— safe, and warm, just the way he likes it.
Got you, Eddie.
Eddie smiles weakly, drifting, barely there.
“You always do.”

Everything seems to be as close to perfect for him as it's ever been in a long time. But one night when he looks in the mirror, he sees changes in himself that he doesn't recognize.
With a little love and appreciation, though, he'll learn to love the shape he's in - because for once, it's a good one.

Summary
He goes to a church to cover his bases. God is a thought that occurs to him almost off-hand when he finally makes the decision, the same way religious thought patterns have followed him throughout the rest of his life. He’s long since given up trying to do anything about it, but still, when he lies, when he steals, when he looks at something with jealousy, a voice in his head whispers, that’s a sin. Just a reminder. Something to brush away and try to ignore.
Different for this one, though. He’d considered the option, and that voice, more panicked than usual, had reminded him, that’s a mortal sin. The Catholic schoolboy that lived in his head could be silenced on most matters, but this one made his child-self afraid. God will hate you for that. God will send you to Hell. So maybe, he’d thought, he ought to pray.
