Chewed up and spit out by the place she called home, she lived a nomadic life, travelling from one place to another and making tough decisions, never finding a place to belong until she met him.
Itachi Uchiha's eyes sparked fear, his loneliness evoked sympathy and his story inspired love. Hikari found herself a willing participant in his plans, selfishly clinging to him as he repeatedly asked her to let go. She knew what she was getting into from the start. That didn't stop her, and it didn't stop the pain.
Nothing could've prepared her for what was to come.
