Seoyeon always felt her close. Whenever they entered a patients room, Kotone stayed by her side, held the door open for her even if she didn't look at her. When Seoyeon didn't hear the numbers and words the resident was speed ramping down, Kotone would whisper them to her.
"Are you evolving to a parrot?"
"I can always stop and you keep your badly scribbled question marks in between your notes."
"Stop staring at my notes."
"I can't even read half of what you write."Or, Just two burned-out med students and the feelings they don't dare to admit.
Like a symbiosis but they both are the others parasite.

Jiyeon didn't know she was losing sight of the important things until Lynn came around to prove her different.
“You have been brooding way too much.” Minji spoke and Jiyeon knew the older vampire was being careful with her words. “Restless. Searching. We thought a fresh perspective would get you out of your rabbit hole.”

Nakyoung matched her stance, arms crossed, and head tilted. “As long as you don’t throw me to the ground you can call me by my name in class as well.” She tapped her arm. “Which I had said in my introduction. Weren’t you listening Kawakami?”
Lynn felt her skin tingling. All the exhaustion from earlier was gone.
“Were you maybe busy doing something else?” Nakyoung followed, now clearly teasing.
