With a sharp pull from his hand, Stiles freed himself from the hand that was holding him. He turned to glare at Talia, the corner of his eyes carrying the weight of tears unshed; "I waited for your son to get his head out of his ass- I waited for your son to finally accept me, I waited for him to finally say yes when all he said was no, for 10 fucking years!"
Talia didn't know what to say, her eyes widened in surprise. Everyone else was quiet as well.
"-I endured 10 fucking years feeling like a sack of worthless shit while your son tried mending his broken heart while breaking mine- I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited for him and now that I'm tired, you tell me to wait!?"

'At first, he doesn’t register what Andrew’s looking at - just the constant motion of Eden’s swallowing people whole. Then he sees them. Jean and Kevin, off to the side, not quite dancing, not quite still either.
“Huh,” Neil breathes.
Andrew’s expression shifts, tightening in what looks like annoyance. “They’re getting close,” he says, devoid of any emotion Neil could name.

Andrew’s gaze snaps back to him. There’s a faint crease between his brows now. “You don’t seem bothered by it,” he points out.
Neil frowns. “I’m not,” he says honestly.
There’s a beat of silence, and Neil wonders if he’s said the wrong thing. Andrew’s expression smooths into something unreadable, but not before Neil catches the way his jaw clenches. His gaze flicks back to Jean and Kevin one more time, then returns to Neil. “Right,” Andrew says.'

She was the one who suggested that Andrew needed to take control of his sex life and ownership of his urges. And when he elaborated on what some of those urges were, well…she hadn't batted an eyelash, naturally. She'd actually encouraged him, and then he'd sort of been…stuck. What kind of therapist encouraged her clients to have a house where its inhabitants were people Andrew was allowed to fuck whenever he wanted but never have to worry about their desires to fuck him? Wymack’s voice trails off, words stuttering to an abrupt stop. All heads turn, slowly following the path of Wymack’s gaze.
Andrew spots him almost immediately - hair as black as night, curls gentle and full atop his head. He’s got a bruise the size of a baseball around his eye, freckles spattered out around it like an explosion of stardust. His eyes are the colour of the sky, cresting with storm clouds.
