Summary
Visual language and spoken language don’t always intersect, but there are a few rare cases in which they do; one of those rare cases being in the art of lip reading.
Kaveh has never been particularly proficient at lip reading—and why would he? He spends much of his life devoted to technology and numbers, he considers the fact that he understands more than a handful of languages a semi-impressive feat on its own. His partner on the other hand is much, much more proficient than he ever could be.
But there is a phrase which Kaveh recognises and can read with ease. And it is a phrase he never gets tired of feeling, hearing and seeing.

Summary
The steps were calm and fearless, even though it’s rare to have guests at this hour. Kaveh contemplates the possibility that Alhaitham is now used for having visitors at night. Maybe… there’s actually someone else… his new lover or… well… anything could occur in seven years.
Kaveh intended to surprise Alhaitham with his unnoticed arrival. However, it turns out… what exactly happens is the other way around.

Summary
Kaveh and Alhaitham are still internally bothered by the fallout they had during their Akademiya days. The tension is there but they've long gone used to it. Until one day, Kaveh mockingly suggests sex—to which Alhaitham surprisingly agrees to. Kaveh suggests they would do this with no feelings and intimacy involved. Alhaitham takes that to heart. Read to find out how they resolve tension with lingering feelings.
Writing this because people overlook how much their fallout affected them, especially Alhaitham.

Summary
Kaveh has never met anyone more persistent than Alhaitham. No matter how many times he shows him his sharp spikes, puts up his walls and covers them in barbed wire, Alhaitham always comes barging right through as though his skin were made of diamond. He always finds the weak spots, the places with a little bit of give, and pushes hard enough to crumble Kaveh’s defenses entirely.
It’s infuriating, frankly, that he has no idea what kind of danger he’s in.
A vampire is a monster by definition, some would say, but words have different meanings depending on who's using them.
