Summary
“I’m with child actually,” Aerion said cooly. “So no, my dear Daeron, I am not getting fat. I am merely eating for two.”
“Child?” The dumb creature he had let into his bed asked blankly, “where?”
Duncan’s armor creaked as he bent and peered under the heavy table. Daeron sucked in a sharp breath.
“What madman was stupid enough to stick their cock in you?”
A booming thunk as the table rattled on its legs. Duncan let out a muffled curse and crawled back out. Color had drained from his face. Aerion ignored his quiet panicked attempts to catch his gaze and selected another grape from the offerings, red this time.
Aegon jumped up onto his chair, bald little head cocked to the side. “Are you— truly?”
“Oh, Father is going to kill you,” Daeron observed as he snatched a goblet and filled it with light summer wine. “After he flays the skin from the man that seeded you.”
(Or the countdown for Dunk's impending demise by Maekar's mace.)

Summary
Before the Ashford Tourney, Duncan crosses paths with Daeron at an inn along the road. The prince knows his face before they have ever met. He has seen him in dreams: the knight who will stand between three dragons, the man destined to change the course of House Targaryen.
Rather than drive him away, Daeron asks Dunk to come closer.
The eldest prince has accepted his path, but Aerion and Valarr will not surrender so easily. The bond may have been written long before they understood it, but not every dragon welcomes the hand that reaches for it.
Soulmate AU: Dunk only wants to earn a few coins in a tourney. Instead, he kisses a strange prince, finds himself bound by fate, and ends up looking after three Targaryens: one mad, one drunk, and one carrying wisdom far beyond his years. For reasons Dunk doesn't quite understand, each of them takes to him in their own way. And though he never seeks it, the path he walks may one day bring dragons back into the world.

Summary
Aerion Targaryen has been given as gift to the oaf who bested him in battle. He hates it. Hates the man. Most of all, hates that the stupid hedgeknight hasn’t even tried to climb into his bed since their wedding night.

Summary
Aerion smelled it as soon as he came to. The scent of the horrid beast who bit him.
The alpha sat near his bed, a ruin of swollen flesh and deep purple bruising.
There were countless things he wanted to say to the brute, each one more cutting than the last, but all that came out was a ragged. “Why?”
The alpha stared at him. “Because you cannot be trusted,” he said simply, his lips thin. “Everywhere you go, you leave wreckage in your wake.”
Aerion laughed, the motion splitting the scabs open on his mouth. “And what? You think you will bend me to your will?”
His tone was mocking, but the hedge knight did not falter. “Yes,” he said firmly. “I mean to.”
Or, Aerion thinks he can ignore a mating bond. He can’t.

Summary
“Easy now, Your Grace. You’ll make the claim wound worse, and it’s ugly enough already. I’ve seen dogs mark each other gentler.”
Ser Duncan the Tall should have died at Ashford. Instead, he won—and in doing so, committed a greater offense: he put his teeth to a Targaryen prince. What passed between him and Prince Aerion refuses to stay buried. As whispers spread and the crown moves to contain what it cannot name, Dunk finds himself bound to the very man he should fear most—and cannot seem to leave.
