“Carmilla, please,” I begged, unable to stand seeing her so. “What ails you?”
She gazed on me so piteously I forgot myself and stepped further in to go to her, help her somehow…but I halted mid-step as she startled, bracing herself on the snow-dusted stone at her back.
The door swung shut behind me with a low, protracted creak as we stared at each other, at a loss. Eventually, she lowered her eyes, biting her lip as she did when in consternation, though on this occasion it was eerily difficult to tell the white of her teeth from the colourless lip into which they dug.
The tumult of nameless worries colliding in my mind and beating in my breast quieted as terrible revelation dawned on me.Something is wrong with Carmilla.

'It is here', I thought, coming to consciousness in the small hours. That unmistakable gaze was upon me again. I steeled myself to open my eyes, far less sure of my request to bring it back now that it was near.
Some time passed before mustering the required nerve, and never once did I hear the thing I knew was there make a sound. I pushed myself upright in one oafish motion so I would not have time to second guess myself, determined to look upon my visitor.
It was not as I remembered.The nightly visitor that paces at the foot of Laura's bed is no dream. She knows that, but precious little else. When she finally tells Carmilla of her plight, she inadvertently causes an irreversible shift in their relationship; one that forces her to examine long-avoided questions buried deeply enough that only her real dreams seem to know where the answers lie. Carmilla is more than happy to help her figure out what those answers are.

He’d never thought the feelings he’d skillfully suppressed for four years would ever get in the way.
Now he’s stuck in this friends with benefits who may be fake or real dating but not really thing, and it just so happens that Chuuya gets entangled in an incident in New York, and that bastard Dazai may or may not have just flown halfway across the world to him, what the fuck is happening.
