You held a colorful bouquet in your hands as you approached the closet in the back of the school.
A small, barely budding orange flower beside a yellow one with a long stem. A green one, leaning to one side against a blue flower, its leaves puffed up and elegant. A cyan one, small with some leaves tattered beside a purple one, that felt somehow different from the rest. Inside the circle lay a golden flower, cut in half and taped together, held by all of its petaled siblings.
OR! The flowers don't have their own bodies anymore, so they go to the closest vessel.

Using his good hand, he shifted forward, using all his strength to put weight on one foot, and…
Nothing. He had no strength in his legs right now. He tried again, and again, and each time, they would give way, and another twinge would ripple upwards. On his last attempt, his foot slipped, almost sending him face-first into the dirt. Standing up on his own, let alone walking, was out of the question right now.
Crawling, one-armed, a great distance with very little strength? That wasn’t sensible either. No, right now, all Flowery could do was… stay put.
What a laugh. He was just as useless as a flower.
(That wasn’t right. Flowers weren’t useless… But like this, with no one to see him, what good was he?)
He sighed, feeling the exhaustion catch back up to him. Shuffling into a comfortable position as best he could, Flowery took one deep breath,and called for help.
