You kept the rod just far enough to keep the sparks from licking at his clothes, but Leland almost seemed disappointed at the lack of contact, despite how hard he was fighting against you.

That’s how you’d wound up here, in the room just a thin window away from the Generator, staring up at Leland desperately as you tried to buy time for the others to fuel and power the generator.
