Summary
He should have kept his mouth shut, Jiaoqiu thinks as the effects of the Anti-Lupitoxin pill start to wear off, trembling on his knees as wave after wave of debilitating fear washes over him.
What hubris to think he could somehow stall Hoolay. Jiaoqiu should have known that him trying to save anyone would be futile. In the end, his failed attempt to help will just end up making things worse instead.
