Yoongi didn't have to look up from his phone to know which one of them Jungkook was calling out for. It was always so obvious when it was Namjoon, when Jungkook's voice was dripping with adoration and awe and respect. As if Namjoon were somehow larger than life. As if he held the power to either crush or elate Jungkook entirely with his response and yet there was no risk that Jungkook would rather take. As if just being allowed to speak to their leader were a gift Jungkook couldn't help but marvel at every time he remembered it had been given to him.
Sometimes, Yoongi wondered if that was what his own voice sounded like when he said Jungkook's name.

He screams internally and looks at the both of them as if yelling at them why didn’t they warn him that Yoongi was right behind him. Taehyung mouthed 'we tried' because he knew what Jimin was thinking and 'fuck' they were right. They tried but how could Jimin have guessed they were trying to tell him that Min Yoongi was overhearing everything?
Jimin turns around slowly, hoping the redness he feels spreading from his neck upward is not too visible. “Do what?” Jimin tries to play dumb.
“Be your boyfriend for the holiday.”
“No, you won’t do it.”

Probably because he did, if he’d been talking to the rest of the team, anyone at the Garrison, or any of Lance’s siblings. Lance hadn’t left home since he’d been released from the mandatory medical evaluation at the Garrison after the last solo mission that nearly killed him. It’d been nearly a year, and his feet hadn’t left the family farm’s soil since, which was exactly how Lance wanted it.
