Summary
Small part of Elio always dreads summer, reason of it being a very talkative Greek boy. Elio wishes he could cut off his ears as soon as he starts talking. Worse, he starts rambling, then nobody understands him, because of the accent and speed of his talking.
Elio hopes the summer goes different this time, that he'll get to relax and not have to listen to rambling. The summer absolutely will go different, but not in the way Elio assumed. ˎˊ˗

Kameron Romano's parents said they needed to move for work reasons. Kameron didn't want to move, he would lose all his friends. He didn't know what was waiting for him in Derry.
Patrick Hockstetter heard that a family was moving to Derry. He hoped that atleast somebody from that family was "real" like him. Nobody could be as real Patrick, as he considered himself the only real person to exist, but almost as real as him.
