Summary
“I got these for you shitty mackerel,” Chuuya said stiffly as Dazai barely caught the flowers in his hands and had to catch a box of truffles being roughly shoved towards him too.
“Eh?” Dazai muttered, taking a step back to place the bouquet on the kitchen countertop to inspect the box of sweets. “You got me my favorite?” He murmured, not yet meeting Chuuya’s gaze as he stared at the familiar brand of chocolates and raised a brow in bewilderment. "And flowers...?"
A day in which Chuuya manages to completely bewilder his ex-partner.

Summary
Under the guidance of famous contemporary artist, Mori Ougai, Dazai dedicated his life to art a long, long time ago. From him, he learned how to become highly distinguished in his field, and more importantly, how to suffer.
But, on his first day teaching at Yokohama National University, he manages to upset Physics Professor, Chuuya Nakahara by "brazenly interrupting his class." It’s ridiculous, really, to have a meeting with the disciplinary office so early into his employment-- especially considering that the petit, redheaded professor absolutely overreacted.
Whatever. If he needs to make-nice with some pint sized asshole to avoid sabbatical, then so be it.

After Ray survived by a miracle, he has been rotting in the Freeport’s hospital for longer than he would think. By the time he got released, weird thoughts and feelings that were not his usual ones would occur, making him confused, not even letting him fall asleep. They all seemed to flow around Pete.

Summary

Ray's a survivor, everyone says so, but what does it mean to compete in a death match when the thing you're fighting for isn't your own life?

I did it, I caved and beat-for-beat re-wrote THG with Ray and Pete. But there are still some surprises in there! As of updating this description I'm officially 2/3 of the way through the book! Hunger Games fans, you know what that means!
I would call this film characterisation combined with book lore. If you haven't read the book you'll probably just presume some characters are OCs lol. And if you haven't read The Hunger Games I (albeit briefly) explain the worldbuilding lore here, so you won't be lost.
