    Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker have never liked each other.

    From the moment Anakin arrived at the Jedi Temple, the two younglings competed over everything; combat, academics, missions, and who could annoy the other the most. Their rivalry should have ended there.

    Instead, the Force had other plans.
    When an unexpected Force bond forms between them, Ahsoka and Anakin find themselves trapped with the one person they cannot stand. Through triumph and failure, peace and war, friendship and heartbreak, the bond grows alongside them, weaving their lives together in ways neither of them understands.

    But balance is a fragile thing.

    As the Clone Wars rage on and darkness gathers around them, the Force bond that once brought them together may become the very thing that tears them apart.

    Becoming a knight comes with changes, the main one being her relationship with her master. They've always bordered on the line of friends and master and padawan and now they bordered on an even thinner line, between lovers and friends. Ahsoka must decide which side of the line they'll fall on.

    It's not much of a decision but rather, more of an acceptance.

    We all know how hard it is to ship non-canon pairs in any fandom, but Anisoka in Star Wars is an extreme case. Those who ship them often have to go all the way across the galaxy to justify themselves. No matter how much effort is put into separating this ship from the canon storyline, many (online) refuse to listen.

    Over the years I have left comments here and there, and had many discussions with friends. I'm grateful for the support and respect I have received from both shippers and non-shippers alike. Here, I’ve put together a brief summary of those conversations because AO3 feels like a far safer space than most other platforms.

    Update: Met with the same old type of lecturing again. Just wanted to clarify: 1. I don't know about the platonic tag or whatever tags; 2. I respect opinions from your ideas of "making sense" and projecting your experience and morals. I cannot further explain how I personally disagree; 3. I'm dealing with the fact that this ship received way more hate than other ships of the same kind.
