Summary
364 days since the death of Ilya Rozanov, Shane Hollander has done little to pick up the pieces of his life. Feeling stuck and hopeless, he tries in the only way he knows how to reunite with Ilya. He closes his eyes at 12:00 AM on the one-year anniversary of the accident, hoping that one way or another, he won't have to face another day alone. He wakes up in his Montreal apartment in 2016, grappling with a realized prayer: a redo.
Deciding to do things differently a second time around, Shane quickly discovers that a past he has already lived is surprisingly difficult to predict. Every choice he makes sends out unintended ripples, and no one is harder to read than Ilya himself, leaving Shane to question if his own rewritten steps are altering the man he died for.

Summary
Shane’s brain cycled rapidly through a half-dozen celebrities, porn actors, Grindr profiles, every attractive bartender who’d ever served him a beer, trying to find a comparison for this level of outrageously concentrated beauty in one person, but he was drawing a blank.
The man—Ilya Rozanov, Facilities Attendant, his badge read—gestured around the supply closet. “I help you find something?”

Canon-divergent AU set during the 2017-18 MLH season. Shane Hollander doesn’t have a single Cup to his name when he meets a very hot and very annoying janitor who works at the Metros stadium. -

Summary
“Your space is nice,” Hollander whispers back, leaning in, breath warm against Ilya’s chest. “Smells like mint.”
Ilya stops breathing.
Hollander’s eyes are half-lidded, dazed, soft in a way Ilya has never seen. “Ilya,” he murmurs.
And Ilya nearly chokes. The first name. His actual first name. Whispered like something intimate. Sacred. They’ve never called each other by their first name. Always Hollander. Always Rozanov. Ilya is so stunned he almost doesn’t process the next words, almost can’t translate them despite living in the States for almost four years now.
or: ilya is spiraling about what his roomate could be doing on a random tuesday night. he's not prepared when the night takes an unexpected turn.

Summary
Lando was late again, by exactly one minute.
Oscar glanced at his watch, then at him. “Late. We start tomorrow.”
That set Lando off immediately. He hissed under his breath, furious, but careful not to shout inside the library.
“By a fucking minute?!”
“Irresponsible,” Oscar said flatly, as if Lando’s outburst barely registered.
Or, Lando Norris, a fourth-year business management student and captain of the university’s soccer team, is one failure away from being benched, which could also jeopardize his graduation. Oscar Piastri, on the other hand, is a third-year medical student, top of his class, a certified nerd, and brilliant enough to tutor. A university scholar that tutors for the money.
Oscar is Lando’s tutor. Lando, used to getting away with everything, money, a stellar reputation, a name that opens doors, has never had to struggle to stay on top. Oscar despises people like him. He hates that someone can coast through life on charm and wealth while others, like him, have to work relentlessly for every scrap of success. Lando embodies everything Oscar loathes.

Summary
The victims all say the same thing afterward:
They knew exactly what they were doing.
While investigating a synthetic rut inducer linked to organized crime, Agent Shane Hollander is forced into partnership with undercover operative Ilya Rozanov; controlled, dangerous, and far too easy to want. Shane has spent years building his life around control; control of his instincts, control of his body, control of the people around him.
Then Shane gets dosed with the drug himself.
And recognition, it turns out, is the worst part.
