Summary
In a series of events that he doesn't know where to begin explaining, Soonyoung ends up hiding a mermaid in his bathtub. He wishes he were making it up, but he's not creative enough for that.
The mermaid is very much real, though. He's right there, tail draped over the edge of the bathtub, iridescent scales practically glittering in the afternoon light, lazily splashing water onto the floor. He's also probably a little mad at Soonyoung.
Soonyoung can't blame him for that. He didn't exactly ask before taking him home.

Summary

“Haneul, where is it?”
The voice came from directly in front of him.
Soonyoung looked up, and there he was—a man about his age, dressed in sleek black that stood out starkly against his porcelain skin. His long blond hair, brushing the tops of his shoulders, fell gracefully to frame his face but did nothing to hide his striking features.
For a moment, Soonyoung forgot how to breathe. It must’ve been an exaggeration, but never in his entire life had anyone caught his attention this instantly, this completely. The man seemed to shine without even trying, as if the air itself bent around him.
And then, without hesitation, the stranger’s eyes moved past Soonyoung and landed on the little boy, who quietly whispered, “Dada.”
Dada? Oh, great. Just perfect, he grumbled inwardly.
