On the day of the two-month anniversary since Kurusu Akira shit all over his heart, Goro wakes up, and he is fine. Even if his mouth still tastes like the cheap beer he washed down his throat last night, and there’s definitely a line of drool on his cheek, he opens his eyes, and he doesn’t feel like he hates the world as much as he did yesterday morning. Goro is fine, and not thinking at all about how much it hurts to be in love with Kurusu Akira, until he checks his phone.
