tony invites peter to meet pepper's family in california. peter is ecstatic at the thought of having a set of grandparents, but they aren't too keen on having a grandchild that isn't biologically theirs. morgan is spoiled, peter gets left out, and tony is caught in the middle of trying to prove himself to his in-laws or standing up for his son.
With newfound reluctance, he took Tony's hand, preparing himself to be ignored for the rest of the trip.
That is—until Pepper's mom turned around, looking Peter up and down before giving him a obviously fake smile,

"Why are you acting like such a brat?" The words escaped Tony's mouth before he could stop himself.
He expected Peter to apologize or to look ashamed. Instead Peter's eyes were filled with anger, as he snarled. "I hate you."After Thanos is defeated the team is more broken than ever. While everyone else is trying to pick up the pieces all Peter can feel is anger. Peter and Tony are struggling to reconnect as Peter tries to deal with the aftermath of Thanos. When Tony refuses to allow him to put himself in danger again, Peter decides to take matters into his own hands. After all the neighborhood won't be safe without Spider-Man.
Things don't go as planned and Peter realizes he might have bitten off more than he could chew when he starts feeling sick. No one ever said pride was a virtue.

ned and mj are ignoring peter and flash's bullying turns cyber. peter feels more alone then ever before. and for the cherry on top, he's unbelievably sick.
Ned didn't even look at Peter, glance in his direction, or even notice he was there. The other teenager just busied himself by writing down the homework in his planner that was displayed on the board. The action really hurt Peter's feelings. He put his hand down in embarrassment.
"Are you mad at me? What did I do?" Peter pressed, scrunching up his hands nervously in his sweater. God, his stomach was really starting to hurt right now. This wasn't the time. He needed answers.
