Summary
“Okay, what if I start requesting your power, then?”
Giyuu turns around at that, but his face remains blank and uninterested.
“What do you need?”
Kyojurou startles. He didn’t actually think that would work, he has nothing to ask. He looks around frantically for inspiration.
“Well, uh… do you… see us being friends in the future?”
Giyuu stares at him. If the question stirs any emotion inside him, he never shows.
“No.” And turns around again. “If that’s all you wanted to know, you can leave.”
The floating rocks drift towards him, making a little stairway from the top of the waterfall to the entrance.
Kyojurou somehow expected this. He smiles sweetly, getting up checking his clothes for any sign of water. There’s none.
“Thank you. I’ll be coming to you if I need something else.”
