Summary
All it took was a single decision. Just one. And suddenly the young, quirkless boy wasn’t so quirkless anymore.
This newfound quirk is enough to save his childhood friend turned bully when he is attacked by a villain made of sludge, all without getting in the way of the heroes. It’s enough to get into UA. It’s even enough to protect him from those that would do him harm.
It should be enough to keep his mother around – to make her love him. It should be enough for him to believe that when someone says they care, they mean it.
But it isn’t. Izuku has learned that no one truly cares. Not about him.
Right?

Summary
"Alright, asshole," says Jason and plunks a folder down directly on the keyboard of Tim's laptop. "I'm calling in that IOU."
Tim doesn't startle, not visibly. But all at once there's a batarang in his hand, the blade gleaming sharp. It takes him a second to register who the intruder actually is before he gives Jason a lingering, suspicious sidelong glance and tucks it away again.
"What IOU?" says Tim. "And how'd you get in here?"
He looks like shit, frankly. There are dark smudges under his eyes, and he's lost weight since Jason's seen him last. From the coffee cups scattered around the desk, it's probably even odds that he's on at least 24 hours without sleep.
"I work in mysterious ways," declares Jason. "By which I mean your window's open. You get kind of careless when you haven't slept, Timbo."

After an injury benches Tim for a few months, he and Damian are forced to cohabitate until Tim recovers. Along the way Damian learns that there’s a lot he doesn’t understand about Tim Drake, starting with his total lack of self-preservation.

Summary
Given all the things that had happened to him, one would expect Timothy Drake to have become inured to the unexpected. And for the most part, this was the case. However, some things were just so goddamn weird that he had no idea how to deal with them.
Getting blown up in a warehouse and somehow thrown into a different dimension and around twelve years into the past would be one of those things. Everything he had, gone in seconds. But that didn’t mean things were hopeless. In fact, there was a great deal of hope around him, and a great many things to fix.
After all, never let it be said that Tim was one to waste an opportunity.
