Summary
Mydei is tormented by up-and-coming model, Khaslana at his nail tech day job. His nights consist of him dreaming about his video game streaming hobby turning into a collab with a niche streamer he's more than a little enamoured with. He can be as obsessive as he likes over the man– dreams are only fiction, after all.
Meanwhile, Phainon's only reprieve from being Khaslana, statuesque and hollow in all of his photoshoots, is the release from the mask as an anonymous streamer where he's loved for his flaws, not his perfection. Oh, and the streamer who he's so obsessed with, his entire schedule revolves around. He's just a fan though. A totally normal fan of a man he'll never meet.
Then Phainon has an accident, and Mydei gets his first ever celebrity client.

Mydei has always wanted to be a professional Formula 1 driver. He has always wanted to be like him. Like his idol, Khaslana, the legendary driver who won his first race at just 16 years old and who, for seven years, never lost his first position in races.
But reality is harder than he expected.
He discovered this when his mother passed away. When his father went to prison.
When Khaslana disappeared after that horrible accident in that final race.
And he discovered it again when he didn't finish in a good position in his first championship, meaning he could be eliminated if he didn't finish in the top 15 in the next race.
''You're good at this, Mydei. You're a good driver. You have the skill and the desire, but you lack experience.'' his manager says.
''And you've found me a coach, is that what you're trying to tell me?'' Mydei snorted.
Why would he need a coach when there were only six days left until the next race? What kind of brilliant mind had Aglaea found for him?

Summary
Like the downfall of many civilizations, traitors within the royal inner circles poison the minds of kings and queens. Castrum Kremnos was no exception. It has steadily declined over the years. King Eurypon's madness has pushed the kingdom to the brink of collapse, and the ongoing armed conflict with the Ohkeman Kingdom was accelerating their destruction.
In desperation, the mighty kingdom called for an armistice—not merely a ceasefire, but a resolution to end the conflict altogether. They proposed an alliance between their kingdoms. News of this spread throughout Amphoreus overnight. Two of the strongest kingdoms were forming an alliance that would significantly alter the course of history. An agreement of blood needed to be established between the two kingdoms. Castrum Kremnos was required to offer up a bride from their royal family to be married to another royal family member in Ohkema.
Phainon, a collateral member of the royal family adopted from the fallen Aedes Elysiae territory, was tasked with selecting the bride. His choice shocked the entire world: he chose not from the offered brides but instead pointed to Mydeimos, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos.

Phainon takes everything back- this man is the rudest she’s ever met. She straightens, the gold of Dawnmaker glinting.
“You’ve an interesting way of showing gratitude,” she remarks, her tone dry enough to parch the air between them.
He chuckles, wiping monster blood from his gauntlet onto the hem of his robe as though the fabric were no finer than rags. “Gratitude is for the weak. Kremnos teaches strength, not pleasantries.” His eyes flick over her, from the dust on her boots to the fire in her gaze. “And you… You’re far too polished to be wandering these lands alone. Tell me, Phainon of Aedes Elysiae- how many heads has your weapon taken?”
Phainon bristles. “Enough to know when to step in and save a fool who doesn’t notice a beast at his back.”
That earns her a bark of laughter, unrestrained and loud, echoing across the silent battlefield. His men exchange wary glances, clearly unused to anyone speaking to him this way.

OR; With the rising threats of the Black Tide, Lady Aglaea sends Phainon as a representative of the Chrysos Heirs, and Okehma, to strike an alliance with Castrum Kremnos. She will forever thank Aglaea.
