Post-Endwalker, the Warrior of Light returns to Old Sharlayan for the Star’s Renewal Observance: a four-day gathering meant to honor the dead, comfort the living, and prove that the world still knows how to continue.
It’s supposed to be about remembrance and renewal, and maybe a chance to remember what peace feels like.
It becomes, inconveniently, about G’Raha Tia.
I did, at one point, prepare three competing summaries because choosing one like a normal person was apparently beyond me. The dignified version won. The others have been exiled to the end notes.
