Summary

She tells him she's gay, and her parents kicked her out. Obviously, he offers her a place to stay. His parents, the Metros, and the media all make assumptions about their relationship, and they figure... why not let them assume?
He says, “It’ll be cool. Like… a sleepover with friends.”
He says, “What else do you need?”
He does not say, “I think I get it more than I should.”

Nick’s never had a cat. Neither has Charlie, actually. Charlie has never had a cat because his parents never liked having pets inside the house. Nick has never had a cat because he always had dogs and his mother said that dogs and cats don’t mix together and they would trash the house. So, when they were in their backyard and heard an unfamiliar and insisting mewing, they had no clue how a cat could have made it in.
The tale of how Nick and Charlie faced being first time cat owners because I need the serotonin.
