Summary
Leaving his old pod, Xie Lian made a new home for himself in the coral reef of an island uninhabited by humans.
While Xie Lian had ensured that there was no danger, his instincts were beginning to rile up. Telling him that they had been too close to the surface for far too long. That a predator was stalking them for its next meal. This was not normal. His baby should have been born by now. He should be grooming the blood and slime off his baby. He should be holding them in his arms. He should be nursing. A fearful trill left his throat.
