He could never forget the shame, disappointment and resentment his parents felt when he presented as one. He knew he was nothing more than just an omega, an object for breeding and useless to expand his family's pride or status. He never wanted to be stuck to an alpha, he just wanted his family to SEE him. Yet, the human form of sunshine claimed him and maybe, just maybe, he could learn that he is more than just a tool for breeding. Albeit, the shame of enjoying the perks of being an omega hinders his acceptance that an alpha could ever truly love him.
